Conde Nast will sell all of its magazines in digital form on the Kindle Fire for $20 per year or $2 per issue, except for the New Yorker which will cost $60. The Fire retails for $200. This tablet will likely appeal to a different segment than iPad purchasers but the price point may cause some pressure on iPad sales.
  • Silk, a new browser that will launch on the Fire, but will soon appear on PCs and Macs.
